Interested in joining our mission to fill store shelves with our ice cream? Our Vermont Manufacturing team is currently looking for a Quality Front Line Manager to support Manufacturing Activities for our site in St. Albans, VT.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

Reporting to the site Quality Manager, the site Quality Front Line Supervisor supports the implementation of factory specifications, standards and Quality Management System (QMS) for food safety, quality assurance and controls in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements. This key Quality role ensures consistent implementation of systems to maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements and drives site Quality improvement activities to ensure consumer safety & overall product quality and address consumer / customer issues. This person will supervise the day-to-day activities of the St. Albans factory QA team to maximize resource effectiveness and utilization and provide technical and supervisory support to all site departments including production, maintenance and facilities as required for achieving business goals. This role will report on program performance to the Quality manager, site leadership team and to external stakeholders.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Bachelor Degree, preferably in Food or Dairy Science

Minimum three (3) years’ experience supervising a technical staff preferably in a dairy or food environment

Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into action and follow-through

Excellent math, written and verbal communication skills

Computer proficiency, esp. Excel, Word, Windows NT.

Flexible, motivated individual with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively.

Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment

Basic knowledge of ice cream composition, sanitation principles, microbiology and quality assurance policies.
