Unilever Associate Channel & Customer Development Manager in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey

Background and Purpose of the Job

The ACCM will focus against top customers including top strategicIce Cream customers, and work directly with brand teams, supply chain, perfectstore team and CD finance along with Field Teams.

Build and implement brand plans and strategies that deliver on growthobjectives established for assigned brands and top customers. These plansshould optimize the return on brand activation and customer investmentinclusive of consumer promotion, trade promotion, customer specific marketing,and special pack funding. Responsible for managing cross channel opportunitiesand conflict for assigned brands as well as analyzing competition in themarketplace.

Work cross functionally with supply chain to manage PMT meetings,allocations, and flawless innovation launches. Develop relationships with topstrategic CBM's to drive NIP and share targets. Provide support to brand ABM'sand Managers to cross functionally execute the brand's strategic objectives.Work with Perfect Store team to develop 6 P's to drive in store executionexcellence.

Who YouAre & What You’ll Do

  • Provide top customer input/insight into brandinnovation planning and lead the customer presentation development process

  • Identify brand Category Management needs andpriorities for assigned brands

  • Develop, lead and/or support brand projects asnecessary to reach revenue targets and trade investment budgets

  • Serve as direct/primary lead brand/field salescommunication

  • Must be able to multi-task and balance severalprojects and priorities concurrently

  • Key strategic link between brandbuilding/development and field sales on planning, strategy & opportunitymanagement

  • Develop customer, channel (and geography)specific brand trade promotional strategies, budgets and targets

  • Evaluate customer specific packs and programsrequested by field sales and drive agreement/resolution through the Brand Team.

  • Work with the Brand Team to develop aseamless, fully integrated marketing plan for top customers

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Bachelor’s degree required with at least 2 years of relevant experience including a year in direct customer and category management required. Proficiency with Nielsen (Syndicated Research data), MS Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. You have demonstrated ability to learn AMPS and Merlin. This position will need someone with excellent communication and relationship building skills, strong attention to detail, clear understanding of customer/sector volume, ability to coordinate across various functions.
